Earth Day 2008
A spectacular blooming Japanese Cherry Blossom in all it's glory, bowing gracefully, reminding us of all the beauty we are surrounded with on this Earth Day. This is what we are fighting to save and preserve. Please do your part more than your share to protect such wonders of nature for generations to come.

That tree is, without a doubt, the epitome of beauty.

So beautiful! Last night I *finally* got to see "An Inconvenient Truth." I watched it in Italian, so it was definitely testing my language limits--all that science!--and just wow. I can see why it won so many awards.

Hi Robin,
I have been meaning to come visit your blog for a while now but everything in the world kept getting in my way! It's such a beautiful and informative place to visit! Your pictures take me time traveling back to Paris, I feel like I'm there! Hope we can keep in touch, I'll definitely make a point of checking in more often and will link you to my blogroll.
Love
Claudia

I am always trying to be an conservationist. We recycle everything we can, we drive only when necessary, we ONLY use our own bags when shoppping at any store (no plastic or paper), we have energy efficient appliances. We never use plastic bottles of water!
Check out my son's website/blog for much more definitive information on what will happen if we allow global warming to continue. It is an interactive site..very interesting. Leave him a note on his blog there too! He is a geographer at the Environmental Defense Fund. http://climateatlas.wordpress.com

FigCharlie~ LOVE the name :) Welcome. Glad to see Italy doing there part as well. Though, I'd be a sucker for a vespa if I lived there ;)
